How quickly does it arrive?
Within a few minutes of buying, by email or text, whichever you choose. You can also schedule it to land on a particular day, which is handy if you are buying ahead for Christmas or a birthday and would rather it did not turn up early.
Does it expire?
No. There is no expiry date and no fees that eat into the balance over time, so it is worth exactly the same whenever they come in.
What if the appointment costs more than the gift card?
They simply pay the difference at the end, the same as any other part-payment. Nothing is lost and there is nothing awkward to sort out at the desk.
What if it costs less?
The remaining balance stays on the card for next time. They do not have to spend it all in one visit.
Can I buy one for a specific service?
Gift cards are for a dollar amount rather than a named service, which gives them more freedom — they can put it toward colour, a cut, a blowout, or a bit of each. If you want a hand choosing an amount for something in particular, call or text Marc and he will tell you roughly what to expect.
Can I send it to myself to give in person?
Yes — there is a "send this card to myself" option at checkout. You will receive it, then you can forward it, print it, or write the code into a card. Plenty of people do exactly that.
Can a few of us put in together?
Yes. There is a group gift card option at checkout where several people can each contribute toward one card, which works nicely for a birthday or a thank you from a group.
Can they use it on their first visit?
Absolutely, and it is a lovely way in for someone who has been meaning to try somewhere new. The consultation is free either way, so there is no pressure on them to spend it straight away.
Where is the studio?
Third floor at 190 Dunlop St E in Barrie, directly across the street from Kempenfelt Bay. There is free parking at the studio, and paid street parking along Dunlop if the lot is full.
